K-Squared, Inc. is a “one-stop-shop” for advising, training, security, and second unit action directing. As well as script, costume, and prop consulting. Kevin and his team are frequently brought into a project to train actors, stuntmen, and background, as well as provide high visibility clients such as actors, directors, or producers with security in austere locations around the world. Pre-production scenarios include script/ plot breakdown, wardrobe advising, and weapon or prop background and instruction. Production includes blocking scenes, 2nd Unit directing, giving on-set notes to actors and advising directors. Postproduction includes Automated Dialog Replacement (ADR) and consulting.

Chief Special Warfare Operator Kevin Kent retired after 21 years of active duty with Naval Special Warfare. He graduated Basic Underwater Demolition/ SEAL Training with class 200 & spent more than 15 years with SEAL Team Five, in Coronado, CA, where he completed 9 special operations combat deployments (6 in support of OEF/OIF). His other commands include the Naval Special Warfare Center's Advanced & Basic Training Commands, where he taught a vast array of special operations tactics, techniques, & procedures. His personal awards include the Bronze Star Medal w/ Combat V, the Joint Service Commendation Medal, 7 Navy & Marine Corps Commendation Medals (3 w/ Combat V), the Army Commendation Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, 3 Navy & Marine Corps Achievement Medals (1 w/ Combat V), the Army Achievement Medal, the Combat Action Ribbon, as well as several other campaign medals & awards.

Since his retirement, he's worked in the film industry as an Actor, Stuntman, Weapons Trainer and Military/ Technical Advisor as well providing high risk security and executive protection to high net worth individuals and celebrities. While enrolled in film school he created K-Squared Productions (K-Squared.cc) which has allowed him to write, produce and direct. His most recent film and TV credits include "Fast X" "Obliterated” on Netflix" & Seasons 1 through 4 of Tom Clancy's "Jack Ryan.” Additionally he wrote, produced and directed the short films "Flight" "[CUR]sed" and "Exploited" which have received many film festival accolades. He’s working on multiple film and television projects from his home in San Diego, CA with his wife of 22 years, Gabriela and their three children, Ethan, 19, Gavin, 19 & Kaila 15, since graduating in August of 2021 with a Bachelors Degree in Digital Cinematography.
